USER AGREEMENT & SITE RULES
01. THE AGREEMENT
By using Stray (stray.video), you agree to these terms. Permission to use this site is a privilege, not a right, and is revokable at the discretion of the admins. Failure to abide by these rules may lead to restrictions, 24-hour shadow bans, or permanent account removal.
!Prohibited Conduct
- Do not upvote yourself or others using alternate accounts. Using "alts" to tamper with rankings or target other users will result in all related accounts being restricted and votes cancelled.
- No doxxing. You may not publish a fellow user's address, phone number, name, or sensitive real-world identity without express consent.
- Do not use Stray to initiate, plan, or threaten violence. Depictions of extreme violence (permanent injury or death) are strictly prohibited and will be removed.
- Malicious software, viruses, phishing, or attempts to compromise system security/resources are strictly prohibited.
02. SPAM & AI-CONTENT
Spam is defined as content intended to benefit the poster financially or content generally disliked by the human community.
Stray is for human curation. Automated "slop" or AI-generated SEO spam will be removed.
Self-promotion is allowed only if it provides genuine value to the community, subject to admin judgment.
03. CONTENT RIGHTS & LEGAL
- Age: All users must be at least 13 years of age.
- CC0 License: Original metadata/descriptions submitted are irrevocably licensed under CC0 terms. You must have the legal right to submit the content.
- Liability: We are not responsible for linked content. You are solely responsible for compliance with your local laws (including NSFW content restrictions).
- DMCA: Infringement of proprietary rights is prohibited. Content will be removed upon legitimate DMCA request.
04. ENFORCEMENT
The smallest punitive action is a 24-hour shadow ban. We retain full discretion in responding to violations. To combat denial-of-service spam, we apply rate limitations to all accounts.
